About the Book

Sisters Kate, Anne, and Sam had been anticipating an enjoyable week at the beach this summer with their husbands and parents, a tradition they had shared for years. But shortly after arrival it appeared their relaxing week was taking a drastic turn. Mother becomes ill, something about the beach house is not quite right and Blue makes it worst with his own inquisitiveness.

The girls, determined to find the cause of these strange events, enlist their husbands' help. Kate's Sphynx cat Blue joins in the fun as they begin investigating while trying to maintain the appearance of a normal week at the beach and keep any undo stress from their parents.

As the week progresses, the sisters dig deeper into the mystery, while shielding their parents and tempering their own enthusiasm with shopping and down home cooking to die for.

About the Author

Born and raised in a small town in central Indiana, Kathleen and her sisters, Ruth and Molly, are still very close although they reside in different towns. The girls have an annual four-day Sister?s Weekend and the entire family heads for the beach in North Carolina once a year.
