About the Book

Barrett Bosler has distilled his impressions of people, places, and experiences into brief poems. Here are two hundred of them, written mostly between 1970 and 2000. The subjects range from children on the beach to ladies of the night, from the plains of the West to our cities. He displays feeling, Insight, and a great love of language. Now, after an active life and good fortune, he has the time to publish the poems.

About the Author

Barrett Bosler was born in 1928 in Elmira, New York, and moved with his family to Dallas, Texas, in 1938. He attended S.M.U., then served in the Army. He later worked as a crop dusting pilot for thirty years. He is married with four children and six grandchildren. He has enjoyed writing poetry for many years.
