About the Book
When I was a child, I was told of a place of beauty and magic, fondly dubbed The Magic Forest. It was full of an entirely colorful cast of characters, fairies, creatures, animals, events that shaped their lives, and how they look out for us in the real world. Not that the Magic Forest isn't real. In fact, the animals you see every day just may be one of the creatures of the forest keeping an eye on you. Hence, the squirrel in your backyard could be Ivan, the seagull at the beach could be Larry the Laughing Gull (I saw him once or twice myself), and the crow could be O'Malley and his gang-but we will get into that later.
The magic is everywhere!
About the Author
As told to me by my parents, I was delivered home on October 15, 1963, on a colorful autumn day. The leaves were changing colors and vivid with life. My life has been that way. Colorful and full of life.
I went on to graduate from Midlothian High School in 1982, outside of Richmond, Virginia. From there I went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science, Minor in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University. On to another colorful career as a stenographer from the Court Reporting Academy of Virginia, where I graduated at 225 words per minute while I subsidized my education as a teacher at the academy, which was a lot of fun (and also an adventure).
I now reside in Ormond-By-The Sea, Florida.
About my personal life, I will put it like this: Likes and dislikes: I dislike it when I call an old friend and ask, ?Well, what has been going on with you?? The reply, ?Nothing.? ?Well, I haven?t spoken to you in quite a while. Any news?? Reply, ?Not much.?
My likes: The fact that every day of my life has been an adventure, for good or for worse; yet, I can never say ?Nothing happened today.? My life has been, like that first autumn day, a colorful adventure.
