About the Book
Follow the unique story of seven families as they arrive in America during the late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century, in search of a dream.
Based on the author's own family history, learn how baseball helps shape this dream into a reality as their love for the great American game, first divides them, then Americanizes them, and lastly brings them togetherAbout the Author
As a writer, teacher, traveler, and former journalist, I try to incorporate my unique life experiences and my own personal struggles throughout my work. Therefore I depend on each to make the scenes in my stories come alive and as I write, I live and breathe the characters that walk through them. These are characters who like me were born and raised on the Jersey Shore. They share a personality that is all their own and a certain edginess that often mixes with sincerity and heart at just the right moments. They are real people with real-life flaws, which I know are a lot like our own.
