About the Book

I was born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts on August 24, 1987. I moved around often throughout my life thus far. My experience in moving to so many different places has enabled me to approach situations with a more mature stance.

Poetry has been my way of releasing anger, aggression, frustration, and confusion onto the world. All poetry conveys meaning but not all poetry puts force behind the message. Subtle messages and nuances may create a new light within people but the light isn't bright enough to blur their vision to see the truth. My goal in writing poetry is to make the message not too complicated but deliver it with a punch instead of an offering. The harder the audience is punched, the more inclined they are to be open to new ideas as well as aid others to see a new light.

Similar to people that disagree with music due to the profane nature. "Bad words," are not everything in the song. Most of the time they are used to increase the emotions within the message. Ultimately, the artist is trying to get your attention; and that is why I wrote The Mind of a Poet, to get your attention with a punch.

About the Author

All poetry conveys meaning and a message but not all poetry delivers with the force that causes impact and change. My goal in writing poetry is to create a message that may be easily conveyed and deliver with a punch. I prefer to speak the truth and writing poetry is the purest form of truth that I have encountered. I live in Arizona but I have moved to a new place almost every other year. Some reasons due to decisions above my authority and others in my preference. All I can say is that adapting to new climates, environments, and people has made me who I am, and within the lines of my book you will know who I am.
