About the Book

Dr. Foxall, author of Pearls and Gems, a collection of inspirational messages, has written a heartfelt book of tragedy and triumph, Before Their Time: The Death of a Child. Losing a child is one of the most tragic life events that a mother will ever face. Dr. Foxall focuses on the mother's loss but in no way discounts the powerful loss felt by fathers, grandparents, siblings, family, and friends. Chapter 10 specifically deals with the grief and loss felt by those other than the mother, while Chapter 11 is devoted to the grief process and how we "get through, never over" the loss of a child.

Dr. Foxall has included valuable resources on where to get help for yourself or a loved one who may have experienced the loss of a child. He has also included a selected reading list of books that deal with the loss of a child, including additional information on the grief process.

A psychotherapist in the Houston area, Dr. Foxall has been in private practice for over ten years. He has helped hundreds of people who have experienced the pain and sorrows of life.
