About the Book
The author, with a good balance of themes, presents the reader with some vibrant, highly informative verse. She touches on Nature, Religion, Society, with its 'sonorous' human complexities etc.
She uses a traditionally based structure for her poetry, most of which are effectively simple and are expressed in eloquent 'free verse'. In some of the pieces, the style is almost conversational thereby encouraging a conceptual familiarity between the reader and the persona.
She assiduously harnesses language to serve her poetic ends.
The use of such rhetoric resources as allegories, ironies, questions and answers helps to bring some of her poems alive in a dramatic way.
