About the Book
Feeling abandoned as a child, she suffers physical and mental abuse from an alcoholic husband, and the tragic death of her son by suicide.
The aftermath of the sequence of events has left her in extreme emotional distress, leading to mental disorders that include anxiety and severe panic attacks. There is a certain fear of the unknown that resides within her as she struggles to find that place of peace that seems forbidden unto her. She cries out to God for mercy, for it is only he who can calm this relentless storm that pounds against the structure of her mind.
About the Author
The author, Shirley White, is no stranger to tragedy and heartache. She has lived most of her life fighting a battle of mental illness, stemming thereof. This past year marked the twenty fifth anniversary of the death of her son. She decided to write this book in remembrance of him.
