About the Book

Teagan is the bastard seed of the tyrant Emperor Bohannon. She lives in secret on the planet Beasly. It's time for her to take the throne of an empire that rules a hundred planets. The planet Haven has been purged of all life, twenty million souls died because she lives.

The Emperor has a dream. He sees the two moons of Haven over the shoulder of a woman he doesn't know. She lifts a dagger to strike his heart. "Die my father." The Emperor acts quickly.

Teagan is a servant and slave and beloved of the working class on Beasly. She has the imperial Black Rose of Bohannon tattooed on her left shoulder and the population of Beasly knows exactly what they have in their midst. It's for her to find support to win the throne and leave her father dead at her feet.

Teagan looks to the crowd. "The Emperor rules the land but I rule your heart. Which is stronger, the soil or the plow? I say to you the plow turns the soil and the heart rules the plow. Be patient my love, the Queen of Light will rule."

About the Author

Author of Mystical Myra, Child of the Sun, Robert Dean Vaughn has been writing in his spare time since the early eighties when the personal computer reached a comfortable stage of development. He was raised in California just south of San Jose, electronics and computers are his life. A four-year stint in the Air force in 1961 then high tech production and development work from 1965 until retiring in 2003. Writing is his only serious hobby, he is writing full time now. Science fiction fantasy seem to be his genre
