About the Author

Kristina Simms is a retired educator and community volunteer living in Perry, Georgia. Her previous books include Macon, Georgia?s Central City: An Illustrated History and A Year at the Lake. She is a graduate of Mercer University and earned a master?s degree in English from Stephen F. Austin State University.
