Following his heart, Alex discovers an underground network of rebels dedicated to overthrowing the Governors and establishing an outpost of freedom beyond the walls of the Security Zone.

For themselves, for their future, and for the once-forbidden promise of having children of their own, Alex and his confederates realize they must make their final stand against the Governors. And as they do, Alex discovers the ultimate truth: the price of liberty-and love-is Eternal Vigilance.

About the Author

Gayle Hadley lives and writes on Deer Isle, off the coast of Downeast Maine. She has published in a number of genres and publications, including the Eggemoggin Reach Review and The Working Waterfront. This is her first novel. Hadley is currently working on a collection of short stories.
