About the Book
Frank Westmoreland has lived most of his life in a small town in Alabama. He is a retired engineer who served in the Navy and who worked several years in the textile industry and over thirty years in the Department of Defense. His work took him to many parts of the world and involved many fascinating experiences. He has incorporated a number of these experiences and those of family members and friends in developing this delightful story of the McAllister family and the birth, demise and rebirth of a small southern town. The story involves mystery and intrigue as well as loyalty and devotion and will be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds.
About the Author
Frank Westmoreland holds a Bachelors degree in engineering a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Management. He has been married to Jackie Schroeder from New Orleans for the past 44 years and they have four daughters and eight grandchildren. His family was one of the first in the Tennessee Valley having arrived in Giles County Tennessee in 1806. His Great Great Grandfather was one of the drafters of the Alabama State Constitution in 1818. He has written several historical short stories and has published two books.
