About the Book
This book tells the story of one women's struggle with drug addiction in the 1980's when the Impact of Drugs hit the nation hard. She tells her fight and her victory in a strong poetic voice. Her high school days of smoking weed to her most troubled times with "Crack Cocaine" Prostitution, Prison and Homelessness, and her successful fight to beat her addiction and regain her life that she lost. About the Author
Theresa Houston is a Licensed Therapist and Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has specialized in helping those who suffer from addiction. Over 20 years of experience in counseling, she received her Bachelor?s Degree in Human Services and Criminal Justice at the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2001. She also received her Master?s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College in 2004. She also conferred an Advanced Degree in Educational Leadership in 2012 She is a wife and a mother of 4 children and currently resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area where she has a private practice.
