About the Book
The education and degrees were supposed to help. His beautiful wife, Clara, and their house on the hill should make him happy. The partnership with one of Kentucky's largest law firms should make him proud. However, nothing can cage the beast within him. Nothing or no one can make John Johnson happy; he only feels peace when he causes someone else pain.
Sexually abused by his father when he was six-years-old, John isn't able to bury the ghost in his nightmares. He vows to extract revenge on his parents-for his father who administered the abuse and for his mother who looked the other way. He blames them for his deviant ways and unhappy life.
Clara, who is seven months pregnant, believes John is the perfect husband and provider. His parents, John and Cynthia, don't even know he's married. But his double life is about to become public.
From strangers to friends, and from Chicago to Kentucky, no one is safe when John's life begins to take a downward spiral. No longer able to control his impulses and taste for blood, John begins to release the beast within him.
