About the Author

Scott Hubbard is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor?s degree in Engineering Operations. Scott resides in Wichita, Kansas with his wife Helen, two shopping-crazed daughters Nicole and Madison, and his shopping-challenged son Nate. When not writing, Scott enjoys playing various sports and observing the human experience unfold.

The book is fairly short and concise. It would make a good stocking stuffer or bachelor party gift for those socially/romantically klutzy men in your life who need a practical tutorial on women and stores. It is humorous in an off-the-wall sense that relies on sweeping stereotypes, but still relays useful information.

Overall I think the book provides great information that could be useful, especially for men who are completely clueless to how women are. The information in the book is useful. Some men may have never though of most of the information on their own. Personally, I have a bit more experience with women than most guys due to proximity. I have always been around many women, mostly family members but also my 3 closest friends are also ladies. Some of the information I, too, had not thought of though so I liked that. I really enjoyed the humor in the book. Most of the humor somewhat leaned toward the 'dad joke' style but I, as a dad myself, actually liked that part. I laughed several times throughout the reading. The illustrations are funny and aren't too off taste. Most of the illustrations are better than those I see in the Sunday paper. I would buy this book for a guy if I thought he could really use the help. I would also recommend this to ladies who struggle with their companions ability to shop with and for them. This book should be given to men to either give them ideas on how they can make the process better or as a last resort because they really want something better to come out of the gift giving and shopping experience.

This is a great book for the man that is clueless on gift giving or providing shopping support to their special lady. It was a fast and easy read and would be a great gift for men that need a little extra help. The illustrations were great and overall it was a wonderful guide.
