About the Book

Trapped in Ohio is a psychological thriller about Matt Murphy, a burned-out professor who is hopelessly enraged by the results of the 2004 presidential election. He decides that someone in Ohio has to die because he blames that state for the horrific results of the election. Matt's eccentric odyssey unfolds on a background of politics, religion and ideological polemics. Bullets and bombs become choices to force change. Can Matt find a target? Can he pull the trigger?

About the Author

Michael Fidler was born and raised in the Detroit area. He attended Wayne State University, where he studied sociology and history. He got his M.D. degree there and practiced Psychiatry in the Bay Area. After retirement he pursued his interest in Political and Cultural History. He lives with his family in Northern California.
