About the Book

Bianca DeAngelis, a woman in her mid-thirties, is ready to have a baby, but when she brings up the idea to her husband, he promptly divorces her, leaving her alone with their dog.

She’s just getting used to the idea of being single when she meets John Bennington, a former lawyer who shows up in Pennsylvania aiming to become a high school football coach.

John has just gone through a divorce of his own, and without any sense of firm direction, he’s set out to find a new one. When he botches up an appointment and gets caught in a winter storm, he is lucky enough to meet Bianca, who calls for a tow truck. They each feel an immediate attraction for each other, and there is plenty of chemistry!

Join Bianca and John as they each try to overcome the obstacles that go along with former spouses, relatives, careers, and self-doubt. Both of them have one more shot at true love and happiness, but it all depends on Taking Chances.

About the Author

Mia Semuta is the author of “Taking Chances” and the Kaleidoscope Series. She earned her degrees from Kansas State , York College and Shippensburg University then taught High School History, Sociology, Political Science, English and ESL before becoming an author. She lives with her cats in an undisclosed lair in Pennsylvania.
