About the Book

It has been eleven years since the second Prince of Vendri left with his dragon in search of the legendary portal. The once great kingdom has fallen into disrepair since the king's death and the young Princes have taken control. But now a new threat has come to the kingdom. Evil creatures of the darkness are coming from the forest that traps Vendri. Can the broken kingdom rise up once again to defeat these creatures? King Hiven does not know that his long lost brother Lucius is in fact speeding to the kingdoms aid with a whole army of flying creatures and warriors. But will even they be enough to push back these natural killers into the darkness? Any hope of human existence rests in the hands of a broken kingdom.

About the Author

Lucus Augustin grew up with an over active imagination. He spent most of his early childhood reading and watching sci-fi and fantasy stories. He currently attends Illinois State University and writes in his free time. He hopes to become a high school history teacher so he may better mold young minds.
