About the Book

Poet LeRoy Robert Allen has experienced an exciting and unusual life. Many of his poems in A Poet's Pen relate to how he was raised on the road and educated in the school of hard knocks, and how he has been inspired by life's struggles, as well as, its pleasures. This Potpourri Collection of old poems previously published at different times by Allen, shows his ability to relate his thoughts to his readers.

In A Poet's Pen, Allen shares a collection of his favorite poems selected from his portfolio written over the past fifty years. The final result, A Poet's Pen, offers enjoyment and provides a glimpse at life through the eyes of a man who has experienced it all and now shares his thoughts that we've never taught, plus a few memories in verse.

About the Author

LeRoy Robert Allen currently resides in Texas with his wife Thoa, who founded AOHT?s Rainbow Bridge, a non-profit organization catering to the welfare of abused and abandoned animals. These collections of previously published poems are dedicated to his loving wife who enjoys her husband as he pushes his poet?s pen.
