She had just lost at her game and was not about to be caught on the playing field again. He was handsome, powerful and he appeared to be in control of his game. He was everything she dreamed a man should be.

They were fired in the same kind of kiln. They were scarred by disloyalty and abandonment of their fathers. They were part of the painful grief of their mothers. They emerged with a common curiosity-love. She needed it. He was running from it. And each time they found a place where they could share it the family curse appeared and ripped them apart.

He became his father's incarnate.

About the Author

Kwesi Oginga has actually been exposed to most of the experiences described in his book. Hence, its writing came through his conviction to console all who are affected by the weight that a generational curse imposes on our lives.

Born in Beterverwagting, Guyana, Kwesi began writing at age 15. He won several Certificates of Excellence at the Guyana Festival of the Arts, and his writings were featured in the Caribbean Festival of the Arts (CARIFESTA), in Jamaica, Barbados and Cuba; and also at The Festival of the Guianas in South America. He holds a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting from Columbia School of Broadcasting in The Common Wealth of Virginia, a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies/ Theology and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Kwesi is a Pastor who lives in Maryland, USA.
