About the Book

The cowboy culture is alive in well in grand ole state of Texas. Cowboy church is impacting the lives of men, women, children and families for the cause of Jesus Christ.

This book will cover some stories from the cowboy church and provide an in depth look at parts of 1 Samuel and Matthew in the Bible.

The reader will have a better understanding of what the Bible is trying to tell us and be presented in an understandable format. We don't need to use big fancy words at The Cowboy Church.

About the Author

Kevin Landis has a BS Degree in Agriculture from Tarleton State University and completed his Master of Arts in Lay Ministry degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Kevin is the Senior Pastor at Trail to Heaven Cowboy Church a ministry that started May 2005. Kevin?s passion is to bring non church going folks to an understanding of what it means to have Jesus every day and through out the day. Kevin and his family live in North Texas and is married to Sharon since 1989 and they have one son Hunter who was born in 1995.

Cowboy church is reaching out to cowboys and cowgirls and those who love cowboys and cowgirls. The church holds Bible study, team ropings, barrel racing and bull riding at their church every Wednesday and Sunday.
