The FBI is on the trail of international terrorists. The trail leads them to the summer home of Lawton Treadwell Close, consultant to the rich and powerful. .Joseph F. Hanna lives on an island with his wife and two dogs. His humor column appeared in the Sag Harbor Express for nearly 20 years. Writing for the love of the craft, Mr. Hanna has had an interesting mix of day jobs. His experiences as the lead designer for a heart monitor, years of architectural drafting and helping to develop electronic access controls, including mantraps make this latest Lawton Close mystery rich with plausibility. He also has toured with a country band, and his paintings have been widely exhibited throughout the Hamptons.
