About the Book
This book is a collection of vox populi pieces and labor journal columns sliced from time to cover the Bushozoic Period of American politics through 2005. In the context of its geographic origination, it is unapologetically counter cultural, and the author is considered by the predominance of his Republican neighbors to be an annoying gnat. The author's family has been fighting the Democratic corner in McLean County, Illinois since 1853, and, in his turn, he grasps the torch with ill-concealed glee.
About the Author
John Jordan Moore was born in 1944 in Bloomington, Illinois, and, apart from academic absences, has lived in that small, east-central Illinois city all of his life. Trained as an historian at Saint Louis University and at Loyola University of Chicago?s Rome, Italy facility, and in the law at the College of Law, University of Illinois, he is retired from the Corporate Law Department of State Farm Insurance Companies. A vice chair of the McLean County, Illinois, Democratic Central Committee, Moore is a defiant prairie liberal.
