Jerry Russell has finally found a job that he likes-being a ballroom dance teacher. After paying his dues in the lower ranks of, 'front-of-the-house', he has been given the promotion to, 'back-of-the-house', where the big money and advanced lessons are the just rewards of long and hard sacrifice. Now Jerry can get a decent income, quit his part time job and pursue his love interest, the beautiful Jennifer Danbar.
But Jerry discovers that there is an obstacle in his way as he crosses one threshold to another, and that would come in the form of his employer, Bill Mucs. Bill Mucs has different priorities than Jerry, he is concerned with the profit and proliferation of his small business. In order for Jerry to transcend from a front-of-the-house position to back-of-the-house, he must conform to Bill's 'rules of engagement' when it comes to the handling of 'contract' students. And when one of his new students comes into the cross-hairs of his boss, Jerry is forced to make a decision between his ideals and the realities of business.About the Author
