About the Book
Jennie wanted to leave a book about her and her grandchildren and how having grandchildren made everyone's life more joyful and complete. She feels closer to God even more.
She first wanted write her book to address her grandchildren at their level. Giving them a since of family life. This is what our family does; visit each other go places together and have birthday parties, too.
In the second half of the book she goes a little more into the divorce, her mother who was very inept as a parent and how she came to handle everything while raising children and working full time as a nurse and living with a loveless husband. Jennie proved to herself that she could rise above all this and even more without bitterness.
Most of the entire last chapter was to give encouragement to her grandchildren to have faith in God, be a good person and have no resentment in there hearts and enjoy life.
Chapter two and three should be read while her grandchildren are adults. That when maturity and experiences kick in. That's where understanding and nonjudgmental works together. Jennie is now in her fifties and maybe she'll write another book of a different subject when she's retired and has more time.
