About the Book

Homeostasis-noun-ho' me o sta' sis-The tendency of a system to maintain internal stability due to the coordinated response of its parts to any situation tending to disturb its normal condition.

About the Author

Jehan Mirzaei has been writing and winning awards since the second grade. Winner of the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Competition and the 2002 Writer?s Digest Award, this is his first published work. He enjoys running for the AGHS Cross Country team in California and is currently training for the 2006 Berlin Marathon.
