About the Book

Cal Torncek is the lawyer appointed to represent Victoria Frankel, a young woman accused of using a "lethal cocktail" of birth control pills-a chemical assault-to kill her viable fetus.

James G. Tomka has been a criminal defense lawyer for more than twenty years, representing a wide range of defendants. A practicing Roman Catholic, he has been married for more than twenty-three years and has five children.
