The Collected Rubaiyats of Henry Bernatonis contains 300 Rubais, Persian Quatrains, each a complete poem in itself. These are structured in traditional rubai fashion, the 3rd line of each poem indented.

Subject matter varies from emptiness to fulfillment, from longing to achievement, from regret to admonition. The range is broad, the issues are all those that comprise the genuine business of living, time after time.

The book is one of poetry, as poignant as I could write it. There is no imitative style here, nor is there any pretext of the work being anything other than 3 original Rubaiyats.
