About the Author

Gerhard Skutsch was born in Germany and grew up on Long Island, New York. He attended the University of Missouri, the Paris Sorbonne, and San Francisco State University. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Joan. His son, Carl, lives in New York and helped him publish this book.
