About the Book

Wiggly and his sister, Wishy, live in Transfilledvania with their family. Wiggly's keen interest in the supernatural becomes mixed with reality when a Ghost begins to invade his room. He and his sister seek help from a friendly witch named Samantha, who runs a spooky shop in town. As the Ghost becomes more powerful, Samantha tries to assist Wiggly in the struggle, by giving him a strange box with strange powers. When the box begins flying off his night table, Wiggly wonders who will win; Samantha's box or the ghost of a woman dead for years. An aid for teaching reading, this book contains critical thinking questions, vocabulary and spelling words.

About the Author

Francis Patrick Theriault, born and brought up in Salem, Massachusetts, has been an educator his whole life, mostly at the intermediate level. He has lived in Florida, Costa Rica and Colombia. This is his second critical thinking novel for children. Candy Coated Castle?s Catastrophe was his first.
