This story is about one of those relationships.

Dani Roberts is a beautiful, hot-tempered, and spoiled twenty-six year old living in the Near North side of Chicago. She can't decide what she wants to do from one moment to the next, has never exercised tact or restraint, and a work ethic is a foreign concept to her.

One night, Dani goes against all she knows and takes a job at a bar, where she meets Lem Kopawlsky, a twenty-nine year old guy who both intrigues and infuriates her at the same time. As with all great romance novels, this unlikely pair meet, fall in love, and decide to be together. But, what happens next?

After the whirlwind romance takes off, Dani and Lem have to answer the questions that everyone faces, but no one talks about-what are you willing to do for the person that you love, and how much are you willing to do to keep them?

Danyell Jones is a teacher and a lifelong Chicago area resident, who has had her share of heartaches, loves, and losses of consciousness. Currently, she is living in Berwyn, IL with her husband and her daughter, and only drinks herself into a stupor on special occasions.
