About the Book
It's Molly's first day at her new school, and she's scared and excited. When she starts meeting the other kids, all she can do is wish she could go back to her old school.
She faces down a stuck-up girl who thinks she knows everything, meets a cute guy who doesn't care about her feelings, and becomes friends with girls who swear. Then she meets a strange girl who just can't fit in. Molly isn't alone, though. Her new friends worry about grades, talk about boys, and face big problems at home. Molly struggles to learn that things don't always work out, no matter how nice she tries to be. Sometimes it's more important to be real than perfect!
