About the Book
I Will Always Remember chronicles the life of an African American boy who has always enjoyed a positive outlook on life. He enjoyed a life style that is much different from the general way most black children grew up in the years covered in the book. Charles is the one person who has often said; "I absolutely enjoyed my childhood, even though my family was poor farmers and share croppers and we were without many of the luxuries enjoyed by some at the time." The book shows that children do not have to have all the comforts of life to truly enjoy their childhood, as long as they have parents and friends who love them and find ways to show it.
