About the Book

Inspired by perennial classics like Catcher in the Rye and On the Road, as well as contemporary wonders like A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius and Fight Club, The Wasted Generation details the maturation of a young man as he faces the summer before he goes to college.

From the suburbs of Denver, readers are led through the ecstatic days and nights of summer life of a youth who is new to every experience. Mayhem and madness course through the streets as dozens of characters are interweaved through the compassionate eye of a growing narrator.

Playing on the speed and confusion of movement through fields and streets, readers are transported into the world of juvenile delinquency and crimes of passion through the eyes of youth.

About the Author

Brandon Arment is a film major at the University of Colorado. He wrote his first book when he was eighteen, The Wasted Generation. He has also written plays, screenplays, over eighty short stories and is currently working on a graphic novel. His primary interest is filmmaking, having made forty films since he graduated high school, and he often experiments in other media such as music and graphic design. He enjoys living.
