About the Author

Betty J. Powell is a mother of three children and grandmother of eleven. Her husband, David, is a roofing man he works on roofs for a living. As the daughter of Catherine & J.D. Odum, she was raised in a little country town called Eastman GA. After leaving school at the age of fourteen, dropping out in the tenth grade, because things had gotten complicated, was married and had a child, tried to return to finish but she couldn?t. She managed as she went on with her life to walk in the calling where she was called, The Ministry field, she went on to receive her Bachelors degree in theology, She?s the Overseer/Pastor of the True Faith Original Church & Asst. Overseer to the First Apostolic Churches in Jesus Name in Plainfield GA. She works full time in the Gospel. Betty?s extraordinary experience of being called by God has led Betty into the lives of many people young an old, she has helped people with their lives getting them back on track with the help of God where they felt lost, she?s ministered to the hungry, she?s ministered unto the people who didn?t have anywhere to live and helped with shelter, Betty has ministered in many churches of different denominations and many more.
