About the Author

Betty Dunn, reporter-journalist born and reared at York, Nebraska, reported on York, Scottsbluff, North Platte and Lincoln newspapers. Dunn writes ?thinking Nebraska? as in her novels?In the Shadow of the Bluff and The Courthouse.

Dunn and husband live on a Texas ranch. She has three sons and three grandchildren.
