About the Book

When Michael's family moved to an old house in the woods of Carroll County, Maryland he knew that things would be different but he never could have imagined what he would find there. Soon after his ninth birthday, while his cousin was visiting, mysterious things began to happen. They happened both inside his house and in the woods around his house. However the weirdest thing that occurred was in the attic. Through this attic there seemed to be a door to another world. Once Michael stepped into that world there was no turning back. There were only questions, puzzles, discoveries, and a ghost named Angelica.

About the Author

Anita Lynn Lee taught special education, elementary education, and reading/language arts in Washington, DC for 33 years before retiring. She lives in Brookeville, Maryland with her husband, Robert. She has a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren. Her family has been an inspiration for this book.
