About the Author

Américo Casiano Jr. is a recipient of the 2003 New York Foundation for the Arts Poetry Fellowship. He serves as the grants administrator for the Bronx Council on the Arts and is the founding director of the NuyoRican School Original Poetry Jazz Ensemble, Inc.
