About the Author

A.P Johnson is a former United States Marine, who has been writing since she was fifteen years old. She was born in Port of Spain Trinidad, of Trinidad and Tobago, and grew up on the island of Tobago. Her poems have appeared in the Tobago News newspapers as well as in the Trinidad Express, and she was also the class poet of her graduating class of 99. Alana currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
