About the Author
The author’s medical career spanned thirty- eight years with varied periods at University of Kansas, Jefferson Medical College, Michigan School of Public Health, the International Influenza Center for the World Health Organization and Pfizer Central Research. His major publications were on vaccines for influenza, common cold and other respiratory tract infections, the causes and treatment of cancer and evaluations of immune system enhancers. From 1980-86 he was Senior Science Advisor for Pfizer Central Research. With his wife, Betty, he founded the “ Evergreen Cloning Nursery” of Waterford, CT, to clone cultivars of high- valueplants. During nine years of contract operations, the nursery counted successes with 181 kinds of shrubs and flowers, taught requisite skills to sixty- eight persons and helped establish six other cloning companies.
Keith and Betty Jensen now live in Sun City Vistoso, a retirement community northwest of Tucson, AZ. Parents of four children, they marvel at futures of eight grandkids who will spend a majority of their lives in the twenty- first century.
