Four Years to Life

About the Book

Four Years to Life features the collected works of nearly forty Creative Writing students, and several student artists-all of whom make their home at West Scranton High School, in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Four Years to Life marks the second published collection of writing by West Scranton High School's Creative Writing class, and reflects over two years of student effort. In an age where young adults often receive criticism for their lack of interest in school, Four Years to Life responds with a vibrant punch, dispelling the myth that students have nothing to say.

These students have much to say about life, love, fear, passion, heartbreak, and do so with a style all their own. Through stunning verse and prose, students bare their emotions and experiences, both real and imaginative, and weave an image of abundant life.

West Scranton High School?s Creative Writing class is comprised of many bright individuals who, as writers, take risks to explore the various genres of prose and verse.
