About the Author

Tom Condon is the author of two novels, Shanghai Venture and Rendezvous in Shanghai and a collection of children?s stories, The Sandman. He lived and worked in Shanghai from 1937 to 1945 and spent World War II years in a Japanese internment camp in China. He made his home in Carmel and Monterey, California from 1972 until his death in 2003.
