About the Book
This is a collection of short stories written over the last ten years. There are no essays extolling fly-fishing as a healer of mind and body. Neither will you find dry how to/where to details and you won't find a secret fly pattern guaranteed to catch fish on every cast.
Instead there are anecdotes, tall tales, and fictional adventures. Some of the stories are humorous. A couple have more in common with science fiction and Mad Magazine than fly-fishing. A few take a healthy swipe at fly-fishing dogma, while a bit of sarcasm drifts in and out of others. All, however, are just yarns meant to entertain the reader.
