When salty old bikers get together, they often share some of the best motorcycle stories ever heard by mortal ears. Tales abound about the "fastest bike to ever run" or the "coolest bike on the planet" or even "the worst piece of motorcycle garbage I ever owned". There is very little that hasn't been tried, accomplished, seen, or messed up by these knights of embedded pea gravel.

Author and Chaplain Michael T. Abadie shares lessons that have been plentiful as a member in the fraternity of "Ride, High Side, and Slide". This diverse and colorful brotherhood rejoices in the awareness that being a bit different from mainstream society is not necessarily a bad thing. God loves bikers too, and Shiny Side Up is Michael T.'s way of spreading the word.

Since the age of thirteen, Michael T. Abadie has ridden motorcycles. He authors Gracenotes, a monthly article in Quick Throttle motorcycle magazine. Michael T. is a business owner, Bible teacher and public speaker. He and his wife Diane reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
