About the Book

About the Author

Shirley Russak Wachtel is the author of two children?s books, WHAT WOULD I BE? and THE EIGHT DAYS OF HANUKKAH. She teaches children?s literature and writing at Middlesex County College in New Jersey. CHARLIE WONDER is based on the idea of the youngest of her three sons, Charlie.
