About the Author

Shani Smith was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Dallas, Texas. Graduating from David W. Carter High School in 1994 she went on to attend Oklahoma City University, majoring in Communications with a concentration in Film. She has been a radio personality for the last 11 years working in various markets across the county. The Rough Side/ The Soft Side is her first book and she plans to write may more.
