About the Author

Rob Blonde, originally form Essex now resides in Brighton. Having never gained more than a select few GCSE qualifications at school he chose a career with Ford. After spending seven years of his life muddling with machinery and frustrated by the lack of enthusiasm with his work colleagues he decided a change in career. Moving to London gave him the chance to explore what employment options where available to a toolmaker and soon discovered that sales was his only option. After experiencing what London life had to offer he was forced to return to his engineering skill to make the money required to pay the debt he had built up whilst living the lie in London. Returning to the UK and intent on getting a job that had career prospects he utilised the contacts he had made from his sales accounts, submitted numerous versions of his CVs to suit the vacancy applied for and was rewarded with a job that those who know him defines the word irony. Rob has a keen interest in writing and comedy and having had first hand experience with self discovery, one night stands, non committal relationships and career frustration, he fictionalises experiences for the like minded, similar aged midlife-crisis sufferers to absorb.
