About the Book

This collection of poems is written from the perspective of a regular person who has something to say to the people he loves, to the world he relishes being in, but sometimes doesn't understand or agree with. Hopefully, it makes the reader think, smile, cry and even recognize a little bit of themselves in each of these little thoughts about the love and pain we experience every day throughout our lives.

About the Author

Rick Zuroweste has been writing poetry since he was a teenager, primarily for personal reflection. He has had poems published in two anthology series from The National Library of Poetry.

His poems reflect personal thoughts about people he loves, admires, has empathy towards, or, in some cases, simply abhors.

Rick Zuroweste lives with his wife and teenage daughter in Houston, Texas, where he?s lived for the past five years as a marketing executive for The Coca Cola Company. He?s originally from Missouri, where he met his wife of twenty-five years.
