About the Book

Smokie was a real cat and his story is based around his true life.

I hope this book can bring young and old alike an understanding of one of life's greatest pleasures the company of a cat. For all those past or present owners, I don't have to sell you on the appreciation of cats. For those that have never owned a cat, just read and enjoy. Hopefully this story can help children to accept the loss of any pet more easily without ever having to forget them.

About the Author

Retired educator after forty two years of service to children and teachers. Acquired a B. S. Degree 1958; M. Ed. 1964; and an Ed. D. 1990. The fortunate owner of a marvelous Manx cat.
