Big Ase Trehane liked cattle drives and poker games. He liked pretty women and good whiskey.

Ase Trehane did not like lawmen who played favorites, nor gamblers who paid off in big talk, and who hired gunmen to back it up.

He played his hand the way it was dealt, and would be a gambler, a gunfighter, and sometimes a lawman.
